We purchased this orchid on my birthday 09/18/2024 from https://www.banjongorchids.net/. I believe this is a hybrid created by them. As I was looking at all of their beautiful Vandas I was caught by this inexplicable fragrance. I pinpointed the fragrance coming from this beauty. I knew there and then this was the one to get. It’s fragrance is undeniable and it has been in bloom now for 2 weeks and still looks great.
Looks like this guy is a hybrid originating from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vanda_tessellata. It has quite a lot of resemblance. I believe the actual name of this hybrid may be ben-jasmine.
